Terms of Service

Morning Grace (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online service that provides daily Bible scripture challenges, a shared prayer community, and devotional content. We operate the website morninggrace.io.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Morning Grace. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email. Continuing to use Morning Grace after an update means you accept the new Terms.

You can use some parts of Morning Grace without an account. To submit prayers, save your results, or access Premium features, you'll need to create a free account using your email address. You may sign in with a password or a magic link sent to your email.

• ✦You must be 13 or older to create an account. Morning Grace is designed for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
• ✦Keep your account secure. You are responsible for keeping your login information private. Do not share your account with others.
• ✦One account per person. Please do not create multiple accounts or use someone else's account.
• ✦Accurate information. Please provide a real email address. We need it to send you important account notices.

If you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission, please contact us right away at grace@morninggrace.io.

Morning Grace offers two plans:

• ✦Free Account: Access to the daily scripture challenge, the Prayer Galaxy, and your saved results — at no cost, always.
• ✦Premium Account: All Free features, plus the full scripture library, private prayer journal, streak protection, devotional PDFs, and more — for $4.99 per month.

We reserve the right to change what features are included in each plan. If we make a change that affects your existing subscription, we'll give you advance notice.

Free Trial

Your Premium subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly plan at $4.99 per month.

Auto-Renewal

Your Premium subscription renews automatically each month on your billing date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file each month until you cancel.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time — no questions asked. Simply go to your Account page and click “Manage” under Subscription. When you cancel, you keep your Premium access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe (stripe.com), a trusted third-party payment provider. Morning Grace does not store your credit card number. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Price Changes

If we change our subscription price, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email. You may cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not agree to it.

Taxes

Prices are listed in US dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added depending on your location.

Morning Grace allows you to submit short prayer requests that are displayed to other users in our “Prayer Galaxy,” and to write private journal entries that only you can see.

You Own Your Words

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting a prayer to the Prayer Galaxy, you give Morning Grace a limited license to display it within the app to other users. We will never sell your prayers or use them for advertising.

Public Prayers

Prayers you submit to the Prayer Galaxy are visible to all Morning Grace users. Please do not include personal details such as your full name, address, phone number, or any sensitive private information in a public prayer.

Private Journal

Your personal journal entries are completely private. They are never shared with other users or used for any purpose other than displaying them back to you.

Content Standards

You are responsible for everything you submit. You agree not to post prayers or other content that:

• ✦Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any person or group
• ✦Contains profanity or sexually explicit material
• ✦Promotes violence, illegal activity, or self-harm
• ✦Is spam, advertising, or a solicitation
• ✦Infringes on someone else's copyright or privacy
• ✦Is false or intended to deceive others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards or that we find inappropriate for our community, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

Reporting Content

If you see a prayer in the Prayer Galaxy that you believe violates these Terms, please report it to us at grace@morninggrace.io.

Morning Grace uses Bible passages from several translations:

Our Content

All other content on Morning Grace — including our devotional writing, challenge questions, app design, logos, and graphics — is owned by Morning Grace and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without our written permission.

Feedback

If you share ideas, suggestions, or feedback with us, you give us permission to use those ideas to improve Morning Grace without any obligation to compensate you.

Morning Grace is a faith-based community. We ask that you use it in the spirit it was intended. You agree that you will not:

• ✦Use Morning Grace for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
• ✦Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or any part of the service
• ✦Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, crawl, or access Morning Grace in bulk
• ✦Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Morning Grace
• ✦Misuse our invite code system or create fake accounts to gain unauthorized access to features
• ✦Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• ✦Use Morning Grace to send unsolicited messages or spam to other users

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Closing Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from your Account Settings page. When you delete your account, your personal data and private journal entries are permanently removed from our systems. Public prayers you submitted to the Prayer Galaxy may continue to be displayed without your name attached, or we may remove them — at our discretion.

Deleting your account cancels any active Premium subscription. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.

Termination by Morning Grace

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, harmed other users, or acted in a way that is harmful to our community. If we terminate your account for a violation, we are not obligated to provide a refund.

If your account is terminated in error, please contact us at grace@morninggrace.io and we will review the situation promptly.

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using Morning Grace, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

We do our best to keep Morning Grace running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that the service will be available 100% of the time. Like any website, Morning Grace may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control.

Morning Grace is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• ✦The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• ✦Your data will never be lost (though we back it up)
• ✦The service will meet your specific expectations

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Morning Grace disclaims all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Morning Grace is a scripture and prayer community, not a counseling or medical service. Nothing in our app should be treated as professional advice of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Morning Grace and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Morning Grace. This includes loss of data, loss of revenue, or any harm caused by content posted by other users.

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Morning Grace shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $10.00 USD.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved under applicable federal and state law.

Informal Resolution First

If you have a concern or dispute with us, please reach out to us first at grace@morninggrace.io. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. We genuinely want to make things right.

Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, both parties agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in a court of law. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action lawsuit.

This arbitration clause does not prevent you from bringing a claim in small claims court if your dispute qualifies.

Exception: Injunctive Relief

Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm.

Morning Grace uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate, including:

• ✦Stripe — for secure payment processing
• ✦Vercel — for web hosting
• ✦Supabase — for user accounts and data storage

These providers have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We are not responsible for their practices. By using Morning Grace, you acknowledge that your data may pass through these third-party services in order to deliver the service to you.

We may update, modify, or discontinue Morning Grace (or parts of it) at any time. If we decide to shut down Morning Grace, we will give you reasonable advance notice so you can save any content you wish to keep.
